I met with a friend to catch up over breakfast. It was an engaging conversation that, of course, included some talk about poverty, global issues and even politics (you can only do that with a good friend).

I normally don’t track my time or comment on Sundays but I should mention that this was our first week leading the high school group at church.  They seemed genuinely excited about the topics we suggested – AIDs, slavery, Poverty, the Environment, inspiring lives of Wilberforce, John Bunyan & Mother Teresa,etc. 
It’s a great group.

Today, with many others, I participated in a rolling fast to promote debt cancellation.  I visited Brian Bilbray’s office to ask him to vote for the Jubilee Act (HR 2634) which expands debt cancellation to many countries that were not included in the 2005 G8 agreement.  He is planning to vote for the [...]
