Purpose of our ecumenical gathering:

+ Encourage newly elected leaders to continue the fight against poverty
+ Keep our Nation’s commitment to Millennium Development Goals
+ Learn how to partner with government, agencies and churches
+ Use our citizenship to “Do justice, love kindness and walk humbly.”
+ Listen, discuss, pray, share and be present to one another in the struggle
