Every day, 6000 children lose a parent to HIV/AIDS. Over the course of the next year, over 6 million children will die from hunger. Some of us have encountered poverty and hunger while traveling on mission trips, study abroad, and our own lives. The magnitude of suffering often feels too great for us to comprehend or respond to on our own.
But, we know that we are not alone. God calls us and empowers us to seek justice for those who are poor, marginalized, or orphaned.
