I was out of town most of today for a work strategy meeting and didn’t get around to doing much of anything.

Wow, looking back today was another busy day!

I met with a good friend over lunch to catch up and pitch a harebrained idea I had to raise money for our orphanage in Liberia. He loved the idea! I’ll share more once we have the particulars worked out. I’m excited about this one.
Time spent = 15 minutes (not a 15 minute lunch – just 15 minutes talking about the idea)

Contacted more churches again today. I was able to set up two lunches!
Time spent = 20 minutes

We (Christians Ending Poverty) had a board meet tonight at Panera bread (believe it or not, it was my 3rd meeting at Panera today – I better ask if the coffee is fair trade) to talk about upcoming events, and to begin working on our strategy for next year. We also talked about a new, exciting project. Two other CEP groups are in the process of forming in California! We’re hoping that together we can boost efficiency, share ideas, technology and amass a list that will make even a senator tremble. Well, at least get them responding to us if not quite trembling.
Time spent = 2.5 hours
