It’s offical, we’re banning water

Well folks, it’s official, we’re banning bottled water. We have a good fridge filter that we’re planning to use to fill up reusable bottles when we’re on the go. We haven’t thought through all of the details but for now we plan to buy no more bottled water and to avoid drinking it whenever possible.

My beautiful wife ran the numbers and tells me that we spend at least $15 a month on bottled water. We’re planning to donate that amount monthly to an orphanage in Liberia that we have connected up with. Just thought I’d make the decision pubic.  Can’t go back now. Oh well.

If you’re confused about this post, read back a few articles to find out more about the idea.

Very cool! It’s just tap water anyway, per the recent lawsuit against Aquafina.

be sure to get ones that won’t leech into your water-like stainless steel or leech-free (i.e. not # 7 especially) plastic.

it’s great when you can help yourself and help the environment at the same time!

Funny you mention that. We’re in the process of getting each of us our own permanent water bottle!
