Before I get too far along, I need to thank a few people who made this site possible. My good friend and business partner John, as always, provided much needed technical know how and free hosting. He also helped me come up with a name for the blog. And another good friend and business partner Dave who gave me inspiration by way of his new blog – StuckInStuff (http://stuckinstuff.com), which is worth reading!

But mostly my wife who is usually willing to support a new idea if it’s a good one! Crissy is the one who will be missing a husband when I’m up late bleeding with inspiration. She is an encouraging, compassionate, faithful, and honest partner for the journey.

You go, Cory! I’m almost finished w/Everything Must Change by Brian McLaren. I would also recommend to everyone concerned about doing something the following titles: “Hudson Taylor’s Spiritual Secret,” “Abandoned to God” and “The Knowledge of the Holy,” all available in print form at any bookstore; in audio at http://www.christianaudio.com

I have found that these types of books have influenced me to take action far more than any others, other than the Bible, ever have, by drawing closer to Jesus, for me, simplifying my life & also actively doing something to lessen the misery of others is no longer a conscious choice or end in itself, but I could never imagine NOT doing these things in the context of worshipping God…
